William Yates

William Edwards Yates, 77, of Edmonton passed away May 04, 2023 at the Metcalfe Healthcare Center. Born July 17, 1945 the son of John Edward and Mary (Jones) Yates. He is a Navy Veteran, and was a well loved man. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his sister, Naomi (& James) Cannon of Liverpool, New York, nieces, Vicky Simmons, Alicia (& Richard) Billingsley, and Torka Cannon, along with many friends.

The funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Butler Funeral Home, with burial in the Yates Cemetery in Metcalfe County.
