William Compton

William Thomas Compton, 77 of Edmonton passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the Commonwealth Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green. Born November 16, 1944 in Metcalfe County to the late William Ed and Edith Katie Marshall Compton. William was a farmer and member of the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church. William is survived by three sons. Eddie Compton, Charles (Tabitha) Compton and Stephen Compton all of Edmonton. Two daughters, Kim and Bethany. A granddaughter Linda Faye Compton. Three sisters, Magdline, Barbara and Mary. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services for Mr. Compton will be held 2:30 PM Saturday, May 21st at the Compton Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM Saturday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton. Butler Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted to the care of Mr. Compton.
