William Brown

Aline Sis Brown, 75 of Owensboro, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012, at her home. She was born in Rome, Kentucky on January 20, 1937 to the late Roy and Anna Stone Moore. Aline loved canning, gardening and being outdoors, fishing and cookouts, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers LB Moore, and Roy Wig Moore, her sister, Melbia Woodall, step brothers Charles Harris and Jim Harris, one step sister Lorene Rhoades., and a granddaughter, Jennifer Brown, She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Cecil Brown, her children Donnie Carla Brown of Owensboro, Robert Jennifer Brown of Lewisport, Catherine Irene Smith of Owensboro, seven grandchildren, Janette, Wendy, Stacy, Katie, Sandy, Travis and Trevor and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Wilma Scott, a brother, William Ralph, both of Owensboro and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 1:00pm Monday, April 16, 2012, at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home with Bruce Treon, Spiritual Counselor of Hospice officiating and burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 8:00pm Sunday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home and from 11:00am to 1:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
