Today, we gather to celebrate the home going of our beloved , Shawn Beauchamp. There are three steps to heaven - out of self, into Christ and into glory. Shawn took the first two steps many years ago and has now taken the third step and has entered an eternal life in the presence of his God and Jesus Christ, His Creator and Savior. Shawn Russell Beauchamp, 42, of Glasgow passed away, Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at T.j . Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky. Born August 7, 1979 in Glasgow the son of Frank Bradley (Lisa) and Selma Beauchamp Johnson. Shawn was a member of the Crossland Community Church and a welder for Felker Brothers. Besides his parents he is survived by his wife Angela Matthews Beauchamp. They have been together for 29 years. A daughter Kayli Beauchamp. Honorary Daughter Shelby VanVoorhis (Damain). Grandchildren, Justin and Taylor Duke. A brother David Beauchamp, stepbrother Denzel Wood. Non-Blood brother Carson Barlow. Sister, Nicole Wood. Stepsister Radida Woodard. Father in law, Charles Matthews. Brother in law Adam Matthews (Roxanne) and sister in laws Charity VanVoorhis (James) and Amber Matthews. His grandmother Olene Beauchamp. Also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Shawn was preceded in death by his stepfather Ricky Johnson, mother in law Brenda Matthews, grandfathers Charles Beauchamp and Tom Bradleyl Grandmother Susie Bradley, uncles Jaems Beauchamp and Bobby Carter. Aunt, Mary Shirley, non-blood sister Michelle Huffman Williams. Funeral services for Shawn Beauchamp will be 1:00 PM, Monday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Matthews Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday and after 9:00 AM Monday at the funeral home. Butler Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted to the care of Mr. Beauchamp.
