Patricia Ann Oakes

Patricia Ann Oakes, 77 of Edmonton, KY passed away Monday September 9,2024, at Metcalfe County Healthcare. She was born November 18, 1946, to the late Gordon and Juanita Martin Franklin. Patricia was a member of Missionary Mound Baptist Church. She loved working in her yard and tending to her flowers.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years Jerry Oakes, three daughters Alicia (Steve) Reed of Edmonton, Sherry Edwards of Edmonton and Julie (Spencer) Botts of Glasgow, four grandchildren Matt (Mattie) Reed, Jonathan (Kelly) Reed, Hayden Botts and Ashton Botts, two great grandchildren Marley and Mollie Reed, and brother Ronnie (Linda) Franklin. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Patricia Oakes will be held 11:00AM Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Missionary Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM Wednesday and after 8:00AM Thursday until time of the service here at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy can be made to Missionary Mound Cemetery. The family also wants to thank Metcalfe County Healthcare for taking good care of their mother.
