Nerlie Baker

Nerlie Louise Baker age 75 of Edmonton passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Born in Lafitte, Louisiana she was the daughter of the late Onizip and Victoria Guidry. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. She is survived by her husband Nelson Baker of Edmonton. One daughter Monique Baker of Edmonton. One sister Angeline Hunter of West Virginia and one brother Malcolm Guidry of Louisiana. Three grandchildren also survive. Damien and Cassidy Speed of Lynnwood, Kentucky and Victoria Speed of Edmonton. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton is in charge of arrangements.
