Mary Elizabeth Coomer

Mary Elizabeth Young Coomer, 74 of Edmonton, KY passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025, at TJ Samson Hospital. She was born October 27, 1950, to the late Sam and Clara Young. She was also preceded in death by her husband Albert Coomer, son James Coomer, daughter Barbara Holloway, grandson Joey Holloway, brother Timmy Young and two sisters Sarah Jeffries and Ruby Tomblin. 

She is survived by her daughters Sammi (Lewis) Hubbard of Florida and Ruby Whitehead of Edmonton, grandchildren Wes Morgan, Zack Morgan, Slyvia Becker, Kevin Kelley, Teresa Hilty and Stephen Holloway, several great grandchildren, brother Jimmy Young of Summer Shade and sister Bobbi Tomblin of Edmonton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Smith Cemetery in Sulphur Well, KY.
