Lowell Thomas Lee age 82 of Knob Lick died Sunday December 18, 2016 at his home with his family by his side. He was the son of the late Owen and Florene Chapman Lee. Lowell Thomas was a member of the Antioch Cumberland Presbyterian Church, former operator of Lee's Lime service, and retired from the Department of Transportation of 27 years as a Vehicle Enforcement Officer. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday at the Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Lee Family Cemetery on the family farm. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife Mary Margaret Harlow Lee of Knob Lick, five children Julia (Michael) Ford of Edmonton, Diana (John E.) Heckel of Edmonton, Lanny and Milton Lee of Knob Lick, and Lori (Ricky) Wooten of Glasgow. Eleven grandchildren Chelsea Ford of Edmonton, Tiffany Heckel of Bowling Green, Johnathan (Jenny) Heckel, Brian Lee, Jeremy (Kasey) Lee, Tyler, Sydney, Maggie, and Anna Lee, all of Knob Lick, Zoe and Holdyn Wooten both of Glasgow, four great grandchildren Landon and Lucas Heckel, Ezekial Lee, and Aleigha Lee. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a special uncle Milton Porter Lee, one brother Bernice Lee, and step granddaughter Tawana Parsons.
