Lizzie Stephens

Lizzie Mae Stephens age 88 of Edmonton passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. She was the daughter of the late James Payton and Dellie Lee Smith Oakes. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Smith Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday and after 9:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. She is survived by two sons. Lynn Stephens and wife Mary of Glasgow. Mark Stephens of Edmonton. Four daughters Faye Miller and husband Wayne of Anderson, Indiana. Lori Bragg and husband Mitch of Columbia, Cheri Stephens and Melanie Amburgey both of Edmonton. Three grandchildren. Corey Stephens, Robert (Heather) Bowman and Peyton Stephens. Four great grandchildren. Destiny Stephens, Hodge Stephens, Wesley Bowman and Donna Bowman. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. Wheeler, Lee and Vernon Oakes. Olive Gray, Ovelia Gray, Orlena Nance and Iris Polson. She was also preceded by a son in law Mac Amburgey and a grandchild.
