Latoka Rose (Warf) Wilson, age 84, of Edmonton, died Tuesday evening, September 27, 2016, in Ocala, Florida. Born July 18, 1932, in Edmonton, KY, she was the last surviving daughter of the late Goble and Betty Warf of Liletown. Latoka was predeceased by her husband, Woodrow Wilson. Latoka was a dedicated homemaker, whose greatest joy was her family. Latoka entered the workforce at the Union Underwear Company in Campbellsville, KY. Many years later she retired from the Union Underwear Company to become a full-time homemaker - which she loved! Latoka was a member of Grace Union Baptist Church. She is survived by her only child, Steve A. Whitlock of Ocala, FL, daughter-in-law, Georgia, and five grandchildren (Steve and Joey of Louisville, Micah of Lexington, and Remy and Cole of Ocala). Latoka is also survived by two of Woodrow's children, Verner (Bonnie) Wilson and Shelia (Jimmy)Young. Latoka welcomed all family and friends into her home, and always included the seven step-grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Grandson Woody Wilson occupied a special place in her heart. Latoka enjoyed cooking and was always ready to offer a meal or a piece of cake when visitors arrived. Latoka lived her life as a faithful servant of the Lord, loving others and caring for those in need. Latoka is also survived by her younger brother, Geneal Warf of Edmonton. Her four other brothers and her three sisters preceded her in death. Her step-son, Steve, also preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at 1:00PM at Butler Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hubbard Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday morning at 10:00AM, prior to the funeral. Arrangements are under the direction of Butler Funeral Home.
