March 18, 1951 — January 23, 2021

Carl Garmon, 69, of Edmonton, Kentucky passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Born March 18, 1951, son of the late Ellis and Evelyn Stephens Garmon. Carl attended school in Metcalfe County and was of the Baptist faith. Carl had a passion for the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing and just nature in general. He loved to cook outdoors and had become quite a chef. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Sonya Acree Garmon. Three children. Chad and wife DeAnna Garmon of Columbia. Tashia and husband CJ Jarvis of Summer Shade and Marieka and husband Josh Cook of Edmonton. Ten grandchildren. Josh, Jordan, Madison, Brianna, Jaycee, Cambren, KarLei, Aydon, Annalei and Holly. Six great grandchildren. His mother in law Sylvia Acree of Edmonton. A sister Peggy Bow of Edmonton. A brother in law Kevin Acree of Edmonton. A sister and brother in law Geanetta and Shan Watson of Burkesville. Graveside services for Carl will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 26th at the Moss-Stephens-Grissom Cemetery on the Bill Moore Road near Edmonton. A walk-through visitation will be held after 9:30 AM Tuesday at Butler Funeral Home until time of the service. Anyone wishing to attend the visitation or service will be required to wear a mask to ensure the safety of the family and all others in attendance. Butler Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted to the care of Mr. Garmon.
