Kelly Wade Irwin

Kelly Wade Irwin, 59 of Glasgow, KY passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, at the Shanti Niketan Hospice House. Kelly was born April 23, 1965, to the late Chester and Mary McCandless Irwin. He was also preceded in death by his brother Mike Taylor.

Kelly was employed with SCRTC as a cable technician for 30 years and a member of the North Metcalfe Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed going trail riding on his side by side, camping, tinkering with his CB radio and spending time with his grandchildren. Kelly never met a stranger and was known for his contagious smile. To know him was to love him. 

He is survived by his wife of 24 years Teresa Irwin of Glasgow, four children Katie (Will) Snyder of TX, Miranda Robinson (Caitlan) of Glasgow, Nathan (Olivia) Irwin of TN and Matthew (Mackenzie) Underwood of Glasgow, grandchildren Larkin, Ozzy, Maverick and Kooper, three sisters Marsha (Terry) Jeffries of Edmonton, Janan (Dewayne) Forbis of Cave City and Becky Tailor of FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services for Kelly Irwin will be held 2:00PM Friday, March 7, 2025, at Butler Funeral Home with burial in the Asbury-Center Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM Thursday and after 8:00AM Friday until time of the service here at the funeral home.
