June 20, 1930 — January 7, 2022

June Wallace Hurt, 91, of Bowling Green passed away peacefully January 7, 2022, in Bowling Green. Born June 20, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Pauline Hodges Nunnally. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, J. Wister Wallace and Robert Hurt; an infant sister Francis, infant brother Albert; sister- and brother-in-law Dana (Robert) Simpson, brother- and sister-in-law Gerald (Janet) Nunnally. She is survived by daughter Alicia McClure (Mike), son Jim Wallace (Peggy); grandchildren Aaron Wallace (Emily) and Amy Wallace; great grandson Ryan Wallace; and special granddaughter Katie-Jingwen Zhou (Tsung-Jen). She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. June was a long-time member of the Christian Church denomination, lastly a member of First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ at 1106 State Street, Bowling Green, Kentucky. Graveside services for June Wallace Hurt will be held at 3:30 PM, Wednesday, January 12 at the Edmonton Cemetery in Edmonton, Kentucky, with Pastor Megan Huston officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ choir/music program. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Charter Senior Living and to the staff at Magnolia Village for the kindness towards them and their loved one.
