Jimmie Rock

Jimmie Carl "Jim" Rock, 82 of the Mell Ridge Community of Metcalfe County, passed away Wednesday, July 20th in Bowling Green. Jim was born May 20, 1940 on the farm he presently lives on to the late Buford Rock and Pauline McMahan Rock. Jim was a member of Christ the Healer Catholic Church in Edmonton and was a retired construction supervisor. He is survived by his wife Sherry Rich Rock. Two daughters. Angela and husband Joe Brewer of Crestwood, Kentucky. Andrea and husband Bob Stauble of Louisville. Two sons. James Wesley and wife Norma Rock of New Albany, Indiana and James and wife Angie Mann of Dayton, Ohio. Eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. No services are scheduled as Jim requested and cremation was chosen. Butler Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted to the care of Mr. Rock.
