Jessie Lewis Harper, 68 of Edmonton, KY passed away Friday, December 27, 2024, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. Jessie was born March 19,1956, to the late Harvey Lee and Nora Jane Jessie Harper. He was preceded in death by his brother Paul Harper, two sisters Lizzie Bell White and Norma Jean Watson, and a brother-in-law Larry Cooksey.
Jessie was currently employed by Valley Fertilizer in Edmonton where he worked for 37 years. He also served as Magistrate 1st district for 13 years. He loved riding around on the farm on his side-by-side listening to music while checking on the cows and playing pitch with his buddies. Jessie especially loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Debbie Harper of Edmonton, two children Amanda Duvall and Adam (Kari) Harper both of Edmonton, one grandson Jackson Harper and fiancé Kylee, three granddaughters Lindsey (Lance) Zurmehly, Cassie Duvall (Cam Jolly), and Karlee Harper, great granddaughter Willow Mae, one sister Betty Ann Cooksey and special brother and sister Kerry and Beverly Nunn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Jessie Harper will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Harper Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday and after 8:00 A.M. Tuesday here at the funeral home.
