James Michael White, 65, of Edmonton passed away peacefully in his home on October 11th, surrounded by family and friends. He was born May 24th, 1957 to the late Pate and Norma White. He retired from Edmonton City Water Department after 20 years of service. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and camper, but most of all, he loved to ride his motor cycle. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Alisa White. One daughter, Angie Wilson (Jerry), granddaughter Tessa Furlong, grandson John Michael White of Edmonton. #1 brother in law Jay Brown. He is also survived by 6 siblings. Steve White (Tammy) of Edmonton. Greg White (Diane) of Edmonton. Gary White (Michelle) of Elizabethtown. Jeff White of Edmonton, Anita Barnett (Jeff) of Columbia and Carol Westmoreland of Edmonton. A sister in law Linda White of Indiana. His mother in law, Anna Sue Brown of Edmonton and his son Jason Akers and family. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Larry White, his nephew Waylon White and a special father in law Stanley Brown. Funeral services for Mike will be held 4:00 PM, Saturday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with interment in the White Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
