James Curtis Johnson age 90 of Edmonton passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at his home. He was the son of the late Polie and Eula Melton Johnson. He was of the baptist faith and World War II Army veteran. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Bowles Cemetery near Center. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday and after 9:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife Betty Johnson of Edmonton. A daugher Tina Dobson and husband Dwayne of Greensburg. Three step-children, Debbie Cunningham and husband Dave of Clarksville. Tammy Lopez of Edmonton and Cindy Garmon and husband Joey of Tennessee. A daughter in law Cindy Johnson of Edmonton. Two brothers Haskel Johnson of Henderson, Kentucky and Jerry Johnson of Rowletts. One sister Christine Adams of Louisville. Four grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren also survive. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Greg Johnson and several brothers and sisters.
