James "Andrew" Parnell Cowan was born April 25, 1994 in Taylor County. He went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 8, 2016. Andrew was a member at the House of Prayer in Edmonton. Andrew gave his life to Jesus when he was nine years old after attending bible school with a friend. He recently rededicated his life to the Lord. Anyone who knew Andrew knows he loved his family above all else. He was a dedicated husband, father, son and child of God. Andrew was preceded in death by his great grandparents James Boston of Center, Leonard Cowan, Charles Garrison and Dimon (Annie) Parnell all of Columbia. He was also preceded in death by one Uncle Jeremy Cowan of Columbia and his mother in law Kim Jolly of Edmonton. Andrew is survived by his loving wife Jerrica Jolly Cowan and his daughter Emery Jean of Edmonton. He is also survived by his parents, Terry and Tammy Arford of Edmonton. Two step-brothers, Terry Arford II (Grace) of Russell Springs and Michael Arford of Midland, MI. Also surviving are his grandparents Jimmy (Rebecca) Parnell of Columbia and Todd (Rhonda) Reliford of Russell Springs. Also surviving his great grandmothers Esther Sanders of Cave City, Marcine Garrison and Dorothy Cowan of Columbia. His uncles Landon (LeaAnn) Parnell, Luke (Angela) Parnell of Columbia. Marvin (Monica Isbell) of Charlotte, TN. Adam Isbell of Hart County and Maxie Kirgan of Edmonton. Also surviving are his nephews Terry Arford III and Austin Arford of Campbellsville and one niece Adrianne Arford of Campbellsville. His father in law Wes Jolly and sister in law Kiley Jolly also survive. Other survivors include a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday at the House of Prayer church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at the church.
