Jackie is proceeded in death by Junior Ray “Pete” Brown, and previous spouses, Andrew J. Seavy (1965) and Bob Justice (2022). She spent her last days telling stories of her experiences on a bus ride, her brushing against Jackie Kennedy’s hand at the Parkland Hospital ER the day of JFK’s death. Yes, she was there! She told of her grandmother going to the White House to play bridge with Bess Truman, her mother took care of Margaret Truman, and lived blocks from Harry Truman’s home. In her final days she listened to and sang gospel music, and ate good food, anything she wanted, and spent time with those special people she adored; you could always count on a card on your birthday. It was important to her.
