Jack Strode

Jack Eagle Strode age 76 of Cub Run, KY departed this life August 16, 2016 at his home. He was the son of the late Elnora Strode of Tompkinsville born on March 23, 1940. He was a factory worker with American Air Filter in Louisville and drove a truck for Argus Gas Company. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at the Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Buck Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. He is preceded in death by his first wife Marcella Morris and had two children Christy Strode Cope of Mt. Washington and Jackie Strode Chapman of Boston, KY. He later married Dovie London and had two children Jack Eric Strode of Center, KY and Kim Strode Dawley of Louisville. He also survived by his companion Fredria Croft and two grandsons and two granddaughters. Also survived by brothers Raymond Ferrell of Leitchfield, Everett Ferrell of Campbellsville, Junior Ferrell, Bruce Ferrell and Wilburn Ferrell all of Louisville. Four sisters. Reatha Davis, Hattie Riggs, Bonnie Alford and Linda Jecker all of Louisville. He was preceded in death by a brother William Ferrell.
