George Pine

George Pine, 90, of Edmonton, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at his residence in Edmonton. Born in Columbiana, Ohio he was the son of the late Harvey and Mary Merrill Pine. Mr. Pine was retired from the U. S. Marine Corp. where he served in the Korean War. Survivors include one son, Jon M. Pine and wife Jan of Wichita, KS; one daughter, Jo C. Bejarano-Stillmunks of Hesperia, CA; 2 grandchildren, Jeffrey Neal Garoutte wife Veronica and Melissa Pine; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce Durdel companion Lewis Fitz of Michigan, Mary Ellen Little of Idaho, along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, George R. Pine, Jr., a grandson, Jon Thomas Mitchell Pine, two sisters, Shirley Miller and Betty Barkley and one brother, Richard Pine. In honor of his wishes the family chose cremation with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. Butler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
