Forest Devore

Forrest Lee Devore age 80 of Knob Lick passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 19, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Born in the Wisdom community he was the son of the late Paul and Maxine Irwin Devore. Forrest Lee was a farmer and retired from the United States Postal Service after delivering mail for fifty years. He was a faithful member and deacon of the New Liberty Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday and after 9:00 AM Sunday at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Sherry Lee Devore of Knob Lick. One son Brooke (Lisa) Devore of Knob Lick. Two daughers, Marla (Fred) Young of Edmonton and Robyn (Mike) Mantooth of Columbia. Eight grandchildren. Savannah (Joe) Neal, Rachel Young, Audrey Young, Hannah Devore, Gabby Devore, Colt Devore, Olivia Mantooth and Sadie Mantooth. Two great grandchildren Lilly Jo and Trace Neal.
