Evelyn Francis Gassaway

Evelyn Francis Gassaway, 86 of Edmonton, KY passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024, at NHC Healthcare. Evelyn was born August 16, 1938, to the late Clayton and Vera Neighbors England. She was also preceded in death by her husband Edward Gassaway and one son Jeffery Scott Gassaway.

Evelyn was a member of the Edmonton Worship Center. She loved spending time with her family, sewing, cooking, working puzzles and doing crafts.

She is survived by her two sons Mark Gassaway of Glasgow, KY and Eddie Gassaway of Edmonton, KY, four grandchildren Anthony (Jennifer) Gassaway, Beau (Courtney) Hurt, Justin (Amanda) Wheeler and Aaron (Sara) Wheeler, and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Evelyn Gassaway will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M until time of the service Tuesday here at the funeral home.
