Dorothy (Pendergraft) Lewis

Mrs. Dorothy (Pendergraft) Lewis, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky having reached the age of 95. She was born on Friday, April 20, 1928, in Apex, North Carolina, the daughter of Levy Lee and Leone Beatrice (Walls) Pendergraft. She was a lover of writing, puzzles, and storytelling, she was a strong and vibrant woman who could accomplish anything she set her mind to.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Bobby Pendergraft, Jean Poole, and Genevieve Lipscomb, a son, Billy Smith.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (& Addie) Smith, Terry (& Kathy) Smith, and Danny Smith, grandchildren, Brittany Smith, Cheri-Rose Smith, Lena-Belle Smith, and Bradley Smith, great-grandchildren, Tessa Smith, Ariana Smith, and Lucas Smith. She will always be loved and never forgotten.

Cremation has been chosen and Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton, Kentucky is assisting the family. Butler Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Lewis.
