Dorothy Butt

Dorothy Mae Butt age 90 of Columbus, Indiana, formerly of Union City, Indiana entered into Heaven at 8am, Friday, October 21, 2016. Dorothy enjoyed gardening and making beautiful quilts. She retired from Wright's IGA of Union City, Indiana where she was a delicatessen. She was born in Edmonton, Kentucky on December 17, 1925 to the late Arthur and Icy Hurt Fields. Survivors include her children, Franklin Lloyd of McQuady, KY. Donald Lloyd of Columbus, Indiana, Michael (Cassandra) Lloyd of Union City, Indiana. Linda (Terry Poweshick) Thomas of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Daughters in Law, Betty Lloyd of Glasgow, Kentucky and Linda Lloyd of Columbus, Indiana with whom she made her home. Also surviving are 26 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in September 1994, grandparents, sons, Rondal Lloyd, Edward Lloyd and brother Robert Fields. The funeral service will be conducted Monday, October 24, 2016 at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with Pastor Glenn Poynter officiating. Visitation will be from 11 AM until service time on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Fields Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Lowell General Baptist Church.
