Danny Bryant Froggett

Danny Bryant Froggett, 77, of Edmonton Kentucky, passed peacefully at Metcalfe County Health Care after a brief illness, Monday, January 8, 2024. He was born April 13, 1946 – the third child of William Daniel Froggett and Mary Louise Kinnard Froggett, who both preceded him in death. His sister Linda Froggett Finn also preceded him in 1994.

Danny was known as a mule and horse trader for most of his life. He became a school bus driver for the Metcalfe County School District, a job he loved. The kids and his co-workers became a big part of his life. Danny had many friends during his lifetime who continued to check on him during his illness. Those friends were from his school days, trading days, neighbors, Gallagher’s, Ma’s Deli, bus garage, and most of all his horse trail riding buddies. He loved his horse Buck and a good trail ride. He chose to be cremated with no visitation and his ashes spread on his favorite trail,

He is survived by his brother, Henry Allen Froggett and wife Bonnie; nephew, William (Billy) Froggett and wife Sherry; nieces, Laura Froggett Rigdon and husband Tim, Mary Elizabeth (Betsy) Froggett Walters and husband Manuel JR; his great nieces and nephews, great great niece, and numerous cousins. Also surviving him is his ex-wife and friend Saundra Froggett and her family, friends – Nelson Murrell, Jerry and Seretta Parnell, and his Best Friend of more than 60 years, P.D. Depp.
