Cornelia Pogue

Cornelia Oliver Pogue age 88 of Madisonville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Hillside Center in Madisonville. Born in Scottsville, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Oliver. She was a homemaker and member of the Latter Day Saints Church. Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Cedar Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. She is survived by a son Lawrence Smith of Scottsburg, Indiana. Three daughters. Linda West of Manitou Springs, Colorado, Nancy Hoffman of Madisonville, Kentucky and Susan Lewis of Nortinville, Kentucky. Four step children. Jimmy and Danny Smith of Madisonville. Linda Shive of Summer Shade and Connie Paull of Edmonton. One brother Gillis Oliver of Scottsville. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Shelby Pogue. Three sons; Charlie Owens, Roy Owens and Steve Smith. One daughter Edith Ogle.
