Bonnie Jeanette (Hurt) Syra

Mrs. Bonnie Jeanette (Hurt) Syra, age 84, of Edmonton, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at the Metcalfe County Health Care Center. Mrs. Syra was born on Monday, October 02. 1939 the daughter of Lonnie and Perrie (Froedge) Hurt. She was a member of the Lone Star Missionary Baptist Church, and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Rex Syra.

Mrs. Syra is survived by her two sons, Milton Syra, and Warren Syra, both of Edmonton, Kentucky, grandchildren, Leah Syra, and Dillon Syra both of Bowling Green, Kentucky.

The family of Mrs. Bonnie Jeanette (Hurt) Syra will receive friends on Sunday, January 14, 2024, after 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Butler Funeral Home of Edmonton, Kentucky. There will be a private comital at a later date in the Missionary Mound Cemetery in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. Butler Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Syra.
