Beverly Gathof

Beverly Ann Gathof age 77 of Edmonton previously of Louisville passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018 at U of L Hospital in Louisville. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Maurice Gene Gathof of Edmonton. Also survived by a daughter Sheila Mills and husband Paul of Edmonton. One grand daughter Heather Franklin and husband Chad of Edmonton. Two great grandchildren that she loved beyond measure Gauge and Cami Franklin. She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Viola James. And her stepmother Geneva Stinson James. Beverly was retired from the Jefferson County Board of Education and a member of the the Gamaliel United Methodist Church. Maurice is retired from International Harvester and Toby Tours were Beverly was his escort on the bus and they toured the USA together. He is also a member of the Gamaliel UMC. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday and after 9:00 AM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations should be made to the Saint Jude Childrens Hospital.
