Anne Cooper Miller, 86 passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024, in Cave City, Kentucky. She was born November 17, 1937, to the late Hubert Austin and Iva Grace Cooper. She was also preceded in death by her brother James Cooper.
Anne was born and raised in Campbell County, Tennessee. She always thought of the mountains as her home. She also spent a great deal of time in Tabor City, NC. Anne was a small woman with such a big presence. She was a great mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and fantastic friend. Anne was a natural born care giver, and never met a stranger. She filled every room with light, and she radiated love. To be in her presence was a blessing. Anne was intelligent and easy to talk to. There was nothing she could not cook and nothing you couldn't sit at her table and talk to her about. She was sassy but mostly happy. Anne lived a life full of love, she was of a kind and will be missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her children Tommy Miller of FL, Benny Miller of Jamestown, NC, Larry (Angie) Miller of Cerro Gordo, NC, Richard Miller of Tabor City, NC, Joel (Gillian) Miller of Cave City, KY, her sister Susan Cooper of Athens, TN, grandchildren Ashley Miller, Jessica Miller, Jolayna Miller, Laura Miller, Shelby Miller, Jacob Miller, Kaitlyn Small, Jackson Miller, Holly Miller, Jaylen Miller and her great grandchildren Aiden Milliken, Leslie Pilcher, Emery Durden, and Addison Small.
