Alvis Compton

Alvis Lendell "Doodle" Compton,80, of Knob Lick, Kentucky passed away June 15, 2017 at NHC Healthcare. He was the son of the late Henry and Mary Wright Compton. He was also preceded in death by 1 brother, Henry Compton, 1 sister Beatrice Cross, a niece Carolyn Compton and a great Nephew Joshua Gentry. He is survived by a daughter Connie Neal of Glasgow; sister Naomi Vibbert of Knob Lick; grandson Matthew Neal of Glasgow ; several nieces and nephews and a special care giver Libby Burton. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday June19 at Butler Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 9:00 am Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Walker Cemetery with Military honors.
