Brenda Jewell

Brenda Rose Jewell age 59 passed away peacefully at her home in Beechville on May 19, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born October 31, 1956 the 5th child born to Harry and Virginia London Jewell. She is survived by three sisters; Janice (Randall) Lambirth, Kathy (David) Acree and Donita Kirby. Other survivors include nieces and nephews; Jennifer Deweese, Craig (Annie) Deweese, Jeffrey Martin, Katye (Troy) Jessie, Jeremy Marin, Becca (Adam) Neal, Randall (Erin) Lambirth, Chris (Shea) Lambirth, Phillip Cassaday and Will Cassady. Several great nieces, nephews, step nieces and step nephews also survive. Brenda was a registered nurse spending most of her career working in the Intensive Care Unit at T.J. Samson Hospital, then later in the Cardiac cath lab. She retired from the hospital in 2012, then began to work part-time at the Regional Cancer Center where she was still employed. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant brother Jimmie Ray, a sister Wanda Deweese and a brother in law Kent Kirby. The family will receive visitors at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton on Saturday May 21st from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Sunday May 22nd from 9:00 AM until time of service. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home at 4:00 PM on Sunday with burial in the Bowles Cemetery at twilight.
